GENERAL INFORMATION

All rooms requiring reservations are to be reserved by OUHSC staff or faculty.  Student reservations must be for a recognized organization and list a faculty sponsor.

Outside users must have an OUHSC staff or faculty sponsor to reserve a room.

Group and individual study areas are for University of Oklahoma students and do not require a reservation.

Assistance with equipment for the Auditorium or Faculty Atrium is available from Academic Media and Digital Services (AMDS) for a fee and is arranged by submitting a Service Unit Request.

 

LIBRARY AUDITORIUM (RM 299)

FACULTY ATRIUM

  • Social Distancing Seating Capacity - 38 (individual chairs)
  • The atrium is the carpeted area adjacent to the Auditorium. This area is typically used for receptions or food functions and can be reserved in conjunction with the Auditorium or separately.  Now enclosed in glass it can also accommodate meetings.
  • Lectern and microphones can be checked out from AMDS by an OUHSC employee only, during normal business hours, M-F, 8AM-5PM

  • For a fee, departments requesting lectern can contract hookup to Atrium AV system by submitting an SUR to AMDS

GROUP STUDY ROOMS

  • 4 rooms available
  • Social distancing seating capacity- 2 
  • Seating capacity 6
  • Study Rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the Bird Library
  • 1 Table and 6 chairs
  • Whiteboard
  • 1 TV with HDMI and VGA connections (cables available for checkout in Room 380A)
  • Power outlets available in each room

MOLLY SHI BOREN GARDEN

  • The Garden may be reserved for different types of activities such as receptions
  • Arrangements for tables, catering, sound, and other needs must be made by the requester
  • If cleaning of the Garden area is needed before a scheduled meeting, please contact Landscape Services at 271-2166 during normal business hours, M-F, 8am-5pm

4TH FLOOR INDIVIDUAL STUDY AREA

SnapCab Study Rooms

  • 4 rooms available
  • Seating capacity 1
  • Table and office chair or cube lounger with the adjustable table in each room
  • Each room is equipped with soundproofing, adjustable lighting, and vent fan
  • Power outlets and USB charging available in each room

Brody Study Pods 

  • 10 study pods are available
  • Seating capacity 1
  • 8 reclining loungers and 2 pods equipped with table and office chair 
  • Each pod is equipped with a privacy screen and reading lamp
  • Power outlets and USB charging are available in each pod
  • Reclining lounger pods are equipped with adjustable work surface, footrest and storage caddy

PC LAB (RM 380D)

  • One Instructor and 21 student workstations
  • Social Distancing Seating Capacity - 15
  • White board

LOBBY / PATIO

  • The Lobby or Patio can be reserved for different types of activities such as dining, university sponsored vendor showcases, staff or college activities>
  • Arrangements for tables, catering, sound etc. must be made by the requester.
  • The requestor must make arrangements to remove and replace furniture before and after the event by completing a Moving Request (SUR).  See example moving request below.
  • If cleaning of the Patio is needed before a scheduled meeting, please contact Landscape Services at 271-2166 during normal business hours, M-F, 8am-5pm
