Use these tips to find out if a journal is peer reviewed:

  • Information about a journal's peer review process may be easy to locate by browsing the journal's website or consulting the Instructions to Authors.
  • The Bird Library also provides access to Ulrichsweb, a global directory of all kinds of serial publications including scholarly journals, e-journals, magazines, and newspapers.
  • To find out if a journal is peer reviewed according to Ulrichsweb, search for the journal title and look for the referee jersey icon  Ulrichs Refereed Icon .
